ARPL Architects are delighted that our Sillogue Housing project in Ballymun, Dublin, has been recognised at the 2014 Civic Trust Awards ceremony on March 7th. The project was one of only two social housing projects to receive awards.

The work was carried out as part of Europe's biggest estate regeneration project for Dublin City Council and Ballymun Regeneration Ltd. The project comprises 125 homes wrapping around the new Poppintree Park designed by BRL landscape designers. The render and zinc clad housing forms a new crescent around the beautifully landscaped park creating a unique place to live for its residents.

The Civic Trust Awards are the longest standing architectural and built environment awards scheme in Europe. Established in 1959 it recognises the very best in architecture, urban design, planning, landscape, public realm and public art.
