ARPL Architects are delighted to have been shortlisted in an open international design competition for a new primary school in Dublin. Organised by the RIAI on behalf of the Department of Education and Skills in Ireland the proposals was for a 600 pupil primary school on a tight city centre site.

ARPL's proposal concentrated on addressing issues of the relationships between pupils within the school in what is a multi storey structure. A stepped internal and external form allowed fantastic daylighting and access to roof gardens for all the pupils.

This follows on from our success two years ago in a similar international competition for a secondary school in Dublin , a project due to start on site in 2016.
