Delighted to have heard our Grapes housing project for the All Roads Lead to Whithorn Trust has WON the affordable housing category at the Scottish Empty Homes Partnership Awards this morning in Stirling. Affordable, energy efficient housing formed in an empty shell of a listed building in the whithorn historic town centre now being enjoyed by local families.

The grade B listed former hotel buildings were renovated to create highly insulated family homes with triple glazing and air source heat pump based heating. Phase 2 of the project comprising one new house and the conversion of a former workshop building all to the same standards is now progressing towards a site start.
