CONSERVATION REPAIRS TO MOAT BRAE DUMFRIES

Phase A of the conservation works to Moat Brae in Dumfries are now well under way.  Following emergency temporary roofing carried out during 2012, ARPL are carrying out a programme of repair and conservation works to the external envelope for the Peter Pan Moat Brae Trust with £600k contract, grant funded by Histric Scotland and various other grant bodies.  Local contractors, T Graham & Son of Langholm will be on site until November 2013.

The B listed Georgian townhouse and garden, designed and constructed by Newall in 1825, was the home of the Gordon family, great friends of JM Barrie, who stated that the house and garden were the inspiration for his famous play, Peter Pan.
