New Town centre housing completes
The first of our current high density town centre housing projects has been completed. Providing 31 flats on a site in the middle of Ayr the project is a low energy, low carbon structure. Each flat has high insulation values, triple glazed windows and PV panels to generate electriclty. The residents also benefit from planted roof gardens and a landscaped courtyard. The housing is a model for new urban living givng, people new low cost homes with access to green space all within 100 yards of Ayr main street. The nightime photograph shows the access balconies with a coloured glazed bay window as a central feature and sitting area for residents.
