Working at height

ARPL have been involved in a wide range of projects in the private, public and commercial sectors and we pride ourselves in providing a quality “hands on approach” which is an essential element of our success. In addition to fulfilling our role as designers assessing health and safety issues at each stage of a project, we are also able to provide a professional CDM service.
The role of the CDM Co-ordinator is to advise clients on health and safety issues during the planning and design phases of works.
Our CDM Co-ordinator John Ramsay is qualified and experienced in this role. He is a chartered surveyor and is a member of the CDM co-ordinator’s register (administered by the A.P.S.) which is referred to in the C.D.M. Regulations as an example of competency to the required standards.
It is a legal requirement under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 for a non-domestic client on a project lasting more than 30 days or 500 person days to appoint a CDM co-ordinator. ARPL are able to give advice and guidance through the CDM procedures and requirements from a preliminary stage.
